Crowds Gather, Praise Abounds: Strong Momentum Continues on Day 2 of the CIAME Asia 2025

On July 24th, the inaugural CIAME Asia 2025 exhibition entered its second day at the IMPACT Exhibition Center in Bangkok, drawing steady crowds. Shortly after the venue opened, the number of visitors had already exceeded 3,000, underscoring the strong interest in agricultural innovation across the region.



In the morning, the Asia-Pacific Agricultural Machinery Trade Matching Session took place, bringing together manufacturers, distributors, importers, and end-users from countries including China, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Turkey, Malaysia, Russia, Nepal, the Philippines, Pakistan, Bangladesh etc. The session saw lively exchanges and strengthened trade ties across the Asia-Pacific region, with a particular focus on promoting localized agricultural machinery sales in Southeast Asia








Later in the afternoon, the Asia-Pacific Agricultural Machinery Market Analysis Report and Investment Forum was held successfully. Experts from Thailand, Vietnam, Nepal, and Turkey shared with the audience insights into their respective national agricultural machinery markets and investment opportunities. A representative from Thailand’s Board of Investment(BOI) also delivered a detailed presentation on the country’s investment policies and BOI policies.




Exhibitors reported high-quality engagement. They credited that due to the effective promotion by the organizers, most of the visitors came with clear purchasing demands, ensuring a good exhibition effect and warm atmosphere. The Wuhan Municipal Bureau of Commerce, leading a large business delegation, expressed hopes that the expo would serve as a springboard for deeper cooperation between Wuhan’s agricultural machinery enterprises and the Thai market in key areas include smart farming solutions, mechanization of major crops such as sugarcane, rice, and orchard produce, and full-chain intelligent agriculture systems. They also emphasized leveraging the zero-tariff policy on second-hand agricultural equipment between China and Thailand to unlock new trade and investment opportunities. Taihong Agricultural Equipment, one of the key exhibitors, showcased products specifically tailored to the complex operating conditions of Thailand and the broader Southeast Asian region. These machines, developed through extensive field research and multiple rounds of optimization, drew significant attention for their sleek designs and differentiated performance. Specialists in hilly and mountainous terrain machinery from companies such as Nongfu and Nongyou in China’s Hunan Province, also emphasized that their products have proven market fit in Thailand and across Southeast Asia, supported by local after-sales teams. Nongyou further noted that its large-scale grain dryers are favored by Thai rice mills large dryers were favored by Thai rice mills, while smaller models have gained popularity among individual farmers.




International delegations and local visitors alike praised the expo, describing it as one of the most professionally organized and impactful agricultural machinery exhibitions ever held in Thailand, and crediting its success to the organizers’professionalism. Students from vocational colleges and agricultural universities also expressed enthusiasm, saying that the visit deepened their understanding of aging challenges in agriculture—an issue shared by both China and Thailand—and reinforced their commitment to contributing to the sector through mechanization. Both exhibitors and visitors voiced strong interest in returning for the next edition of the CIAME Asia in Thailand.
